Minutes of the Councul meeting hold. April 16,1946 were read.
Motion by Moo seconded by Frandsen that the minutes stand approved
as read.

} the County auditor be rofirrod to the Village Assessor, and that he
report back to the Council at it's neat meeting.

adjacent to the M&St. L Railroad Tracks and Turners X Rd. be removed.
Mr wonson spoke in favor of having a curfew at 10 o'clock and post

Mr. Beckman spoke in favor of " No play after dark" signs on the
Meadow Brook play ground.

to write the Hghwy Dept* requesting sodium lights on 19th Ave and the
Belt lime, Glenwo" Ave and the Belt Line and the enteraace to Tyrol
Hills.

a satisfaction of mortgage on Trailee Trail addition.

The Village attorney was instructed to draw up an otdinance in regard
to living in basements.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the first reading be givenh
the entitled ordinance " An ordinace amending an ordinance relating
to the use and sale of non- intoxicating malt liquor nrovinding for
special golf club. licenses."

Mr. Wright spoke in behalf of Mr Elstrom on the drainage problem at
Meadow Lane and Glenwood Ave.
The President atated that the Village assumed no respendsibility in
the filling in of the swamp or pot hole on the Elstrom property
Motion by Mme seconded by Reiss that the road overseer be authorized
to construct drains at Janalyn Rd and Glen Crest on Meadow Lane,

The Village attorney read a letter from Mr Deal in regard -to taking
run off surface waters at the lower part of Janalyn Rd.

The Village attorney read a letter from Mr Nickels which restricted
industrial and commercial development with in 500 feet of the belt line.
Three letters from the Planning Commission were road and filed,
The nresidentcalled for bidt on a water tank and truck
The following bid was received.
1. Mc Glynn Oil Co - in the sum of $1157.44
Motion by Mee seconded by Heiss th«t the Council accept the bid of the
McGlynn 011 Ce for the purchase of the Billowing described water tank
and truck for the sum of $1157.44
1- 1930 G.M.C. tank truck 1500 gal capacity with hose, reel bump
and fittings
