Persuant to due notice the Village Council met at the Village
Mall at 8 O'clock P.M. May 16,1946
Membbrs present Swenson Frandsen 11eiss Moe Wilson
The Presiden announced that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss
new salaries of patrolman and appoint a new member to the Civil
Service Commission,
Mr Swenson stated that Mr Jim Brown gave his resignation orally
over the tela#hone.
Motion by Moe seconded by Reiss that the resignation of Jim Brown
be accepted..
Swenson Frandsen neiss Mee Wilson (YES)
Mr. Swenson recemmenddd that Mr Ward fill the unexpired term of
Jim Brown.
Motion by Wilson seconded by Reiss that the appointment of Mr Ward
as Civil service Commistioner be confirmed.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Mme that the matter of salaries of
police increases be referred to the Civil service commission for
dicussing and recommendations.
