Special Council meeting Nov. 1,1946
Persua.nt to due call and notice that Village Council met at the
Village Hall at 8.30. P.M.
ALembers present Swenson Frandsen Reiss Moe Wilson
Motion by Moe seconded by Reiss that the Clerk be authorized to
write the Minn Hghwy Dept. asking them to remove the bars and
reopen the road to NoIg Hill, only leaving the no parking signs up.

The road supervisor was instructed to clear out all culverts
�es�e-lei}meg-e€ and install a water trap on meadow Lane before
laybng off any hired help.
Motion by Moe seconded by Reiss that the Village engage Egan
Field & Novack and Mr Esterbrook to <!'ake a survey and locate a
connection point for the meter house to provide Golden Valley
water from Mpls maines.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frabdsen that Carl Hanson be requested
to gravel Plymouth Ave intersection immediately.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the Village Attorney be
instructed to write Mr Hanley of the Mpls & Northfield & S R.R
insisting on the raising of the tracks 6 inches and improving
the grade therupon"

Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to set
at 424,000.00 to be proportioned as follows,
Road and Bridge Fund, $1,500.00 to the Poor
to the General Fund.

The Council heard Mr Tobey Mr Enghauser in regato thdir diff-
icultys with the Bldg inspector over the Bldg Laws.
