The Council of the Village of Golden Valley met
at 7:30'P.M. July 26 at the Village Hall at an adjourned
meeting, as aboard of tax review. The following members
were present: President Cordner, Trustees Pinch, Putnam
and Reiss.; Absent: Frandsen.
The Assessor, Mr. Einar Lee, reported that excepting
a few final compilations to be made the assessment records
were complete and ready to submit to the auditor. He
further stated that as a result of the assessment made by
the State, a check on all building permits issued since
that time, and travel throughout the village, he felt
confident that all property was properly listed on the
rolls.
The Assessor reported a gross personal property
valuation assessment for 1948 of X218,392. as compared
to 1947 0159,670.
