09-10-48 Special MeetingSeptember 10, 1948 A special meeting of the Village Council was held Septem- ber 10 at 7:30 P.M. at the Village Hall with the following members present: Trustees Frandsen, Pinch, Putnam qnd Reiss, and Presi dent Cordner. Mr. W. A. Wilkinson anneared before the Council in the interest of the Woodlawn Park development. Followine, discussion of the request to be allawd to -provide a. service road narallel- in,g Noble Avenue and for final action on the vacation of the North 30 feet o fthe plea, he was instructed to submit to the attorney proper descriptions for actionat the next regular met ing. The meeting was largely concerned with a discussion of the Noble Grove Addithn. The report of the Villagerngineer, George Minder, of May 21, 1948 was reviewed. Mr.Paul Enghauser submitted a petition executed by the Federated Realty Corp. for the improvement of the area by draining Papoose Lake in aoc ordance with the engineer's report, and stated that a similar petition was being circulated among residents of the area . Mr. Fnghauser contended that by previous agreement with the Council it was the responsibility of the Village to install culverts at Major & 34th, and at Lee and Kyle Avenues at 29th, and to furnish street signs in the area inasmuch as they were not required of the developer at the time of acceptance of the plat. The developer agreed to compliance ith the engineer's specifications on re -located and laager size culverts within the area:. The plat of Mr. H. B. Schwartz's Clover Leaf Addition was referred to Mr. Frandsen for inspection with the Tngineer and report to the Council at the next regular meeting.
