June 30, 1953
PURSUANT to due call and notice thereof the Village Council of
the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, .Minnesota, met
as the Board of Review at the Village Hall in said Village on
the 30th day of June, 1953, at 7:30 P. M.
The following members were present: Foss, Rahn, Reiss, Stark,
and Stasel: and the following were absent: none. Present was
Mr. J. Gordon Boyer, Village Assessor.
The Village Clerk presented an affidavit of publication of
Assessment Notice of public meeting to be held at this time
and place for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assess-
ments of said Village for the year 1953• Said affidavit was
examined, approved, and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called for any -person who felt himself aggrieved
by said assessment to come forward and be heard. No person ob-
jected to the assessments as spread upon the books of the Village
Assessor. The Mayor held themeeting open until 8o'clock P.M.
for objections, but none appeared.
Hennepin_ County_ Animal Rescue League: Moved by Rahn seconded
byStark carrieu tftattne Village Assessor be instructed to
place all property, real and personal, of the Hennepin County
Animal Rescue League, 845 France Avenue North upon the tax rolls
of the Village of Golden Valley inasmuch as said organization
is now operating as private enterprise.
Glenwood Bills Hospital: Discussion of said organization
brough-t out e facE that all of said organization's property,
with the exception of approximately ten acres on which are
located several buildings, are now on the tax rolls of the
Village of Golden Valley.
Moved by Foss seconded by Rahn carried to adjourn the meet-
ing until 7:30 P.M., July 21, 1953•
