Blumberg Property: The Village Attorney stated that Mr. Lyman moss,
representative of the Blumberg estate, was present and wished to be
heard. Mr. Foss stated that the Blumberg estate would take $ 15,000.00
for the entire piece of property. Mr. Stark stated that he would try
to get someone to purchase the property by June 10, 1955, and, if
unsuccessful, the Council agreed to dismiss the $ 10,000.00 suit and
just condemn the easement.
Easements Sewer Laterals: Mr. Barbarosso appeared to present his
problem to the Council. The Village Attorney, Mr. Kane, stated that
the easements were very slow in coming thru. The Council, therefore
agreed to assume all liability and to instruct Barbarosso and Nodland
to proceed onto private property even though easements had not been
received.
