SPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
July 20, 1956
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at the Village Hall in said Village on July 20, 1956, at 11:00 o'clock
A.M. The following members were present: Bies, Nadasdy, Rahn; the
following were absent: Teresi, Stark. The Mayor called the meeting to
order at 11:00 o'clock A.M.
Bid Letting 1956 Public Improvements Fund #20:
The Engineer presented an affidavit of Publication of Notice of call for bids
for 1956 Public Improvements Fund #20 Storm Sewer Improvements, Curb and
Gutter according to plans and specifications approved by this council on
June 26, 1956. Said affidavit was examined, approved and ordered placed on
file in the office of the Village Clerk.
The Mayor announced that this was the time and place for opening and consid-
eration of sealed bids for 1956 Public Improvements Fund #20 in accordance
with the notice of advertisement for bids published by the Clerk and hereto-
fore presented to this Council.
The Village Administrator presented to the Council seventeen sealed bids.
Said bids were then opened,
publicly read, and considered.
