of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
August 9, 1957
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Special Meeting of the Minnesota, age
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, , ags
held at 8030 Olson Memorial Highway on August 9, 1957, at 7:30 o'clock
P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Nadasdy, and Rahn; and the
following were absent: Stark and Teresi.
Present were the following: Village Administrator Owens, the Village
Engineer Sorensen, the Village Attorney Kane.
Member Rahn introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT(s) FOR CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS" (Fund
21-Thotland's Toledo, Western Avenue Pavement, Western Avenue Drainage,
West 2 Yale Garden Homes Street Improvement)
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member Bies, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Nadasdy, and Rahn;
and. the following voted against the same: None;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by
the Mayor,and his signature attested by the Clerk. See Resolutions Book
page.
Purchase of Emblements:
MOVED by Rahn seconded by Bies carried to pay Mr. Holasek the sum of $600.00
for six double rows, seven hundred feet long, for emblements (parsnips).
Date of First Meeting in September:
MOVED by Rahn seconded by Bies carried that a special meeting be held on
September 4, 1957, in lieu of the regular meeting scheduled for September
3, 1957.
MOVED by Rahn seconded by Bies carried that the meeting adjourn.
