of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
November 20, 1958
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota,was
held at 7830 Sixth Avenue North in said Village on November 20, 1958,
at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer
and Teresi; and the following was absent: None.
Present were Village Administrator and Clerk, Roger K. Ulstad; Village
Building Inspector, Dan Lynch.

The Mayor announced that this was the time and place for the continued
public hearing above referred to and all persons present who desired to
do so were afforded an opportunity to express their views thereon, and
all written objections heretofore filed with the Clerk were presented
and considered as follows:

The Mayor closed the public hearing.
MOVED by Bies seconded by Scherer carried to give a first reading to an
ordinance entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING CODE"
(Ekberg; Petri - Professional and Business Offices District)
MOVED by Scherer seconded by Bies carried to approve the ordinance herein
quoted by title on its first reading.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Flannagan carried to give a second reading
to the above entitled ordinance on the grounds that a public urgency exists.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to approve the ordinance
herein quoted by title on its second reading and to order publication
thereof. See Ordinance Book page Yf .
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to grant the building
permit for Ekberg, Petri, subject to set -back waiver along Highway
X55 of 15' and subject to brick exterior to conform with existing
buildings along Olson Highway, and subject to the approval of the
Building Inspector.

Request for Building Per - Dahlberg Company. 7731 6th Avenue North_
The Building Inspector presented a changed plan for said Building.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Bies carried to approve the new plans for
the addition to the above referenced building, subject to the approval
of the Building Inspector.
MOVED by Scherer seconded by Bies carried to adjourn the meeting at
10:15 o'clock P. M.
