of the
VILLAGE QOUNCIL
September 30, 1959
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at 7800 Golden Valley Road, in said Village on September 30, 1959,
at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer,
and Teresi; and the following was absent: None.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
Present were Village Administrator, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Attorney,
Stanley D. Kane; Mr. McClellan of Local Union 49.
Park Board Budget:
LVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to approve the Park Board
budget in the amount of $36,700.00.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Flannagan carried to request the services
of the State Health Department to check the wells in the Village of
Golden Valley to determine the bacteria and nitrate in said wells in the
Village.
Local 49:
Mr. McClellan of Local 49 presented the union proposal for wages for
1960. No final action was taken regarding the union proposal.
Council discussed the proposed budget for the year 1960 as presented by
the Village Clerk, Roger K. Ulstad.
Acceptance of the budget was deferred for further study.
MOVED by Scherer seconded by Flannagan carried to adjourn the meeting at
1:00 o'clock: P. M.
