10-25-60 Special MeetingSPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
October 25, 1960
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, was duly held at
7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on Tuesday, October 25, 1960, at
8:00 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and
Teresi;
and the following was absent: None.
Present were Village Manager and Clerk, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Attorney,
Stanley D. Kane.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
Discussion re: The Village Entering The Water Business:
Council discussed the methods of procedure with representatives of various
civic organizations.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Bies carried unanimously to amend that certain
resolution entitled:
"RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION AT THE NEXT ANNUAL
VILLAGE ELECTION OF THE QUESTION OF CONSTRUCTING A WATERWORKS
UTILITY"
adopted by Village Council on October 4, 1960, by striking therefrom, where
it occurs, the figure 11$2,756,500" and substituting in lieu thereof, in
each case, the figure "$3,000,000".
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Scherer carried to adjourn the meeting at
10:30 P. M.
