of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
February 14, 1961
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on February 14, 1961, at
7:30 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Flannagan, Nadasdy, and Teresi;
and the following members were absent: Bies, Scherer.
The following members of the Planning Commission were present: George
Pennock, Harold Lynch, Robert Bromschwig, Robert Raugland, Paul G. Velz,
Herb. F. Bedwell, George Loughland, Frank Hetman, Logan Straw; and the
following Planning Commission.members were absent: Joe L. Brown, Hyman
Shinder, Vernon Discher, Lyle Jensen, Paul Senstad, Robert VanHauer.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Attorney, Stanley
D. Kane; Secretary of Planning Commission, Mike Sell.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:35 o'clock P. M.
Zoning & Planning far Golden Valley:
The Council and Planning Commission discussed zoning and planning problems
that exist in the Village of Golden Valley. No action was taken.
Res Engebretsen Property, Douglas Drive & Knoll Street:
The Village Manager informed the Council that written permission had been
received from Mr. & Mrs. Engebretsen to burn the house at Douglas Drive
and Knoll Street. The Manager stated the house would be burned by the
Village Fire Department with the assistance of the Civil Defense to
control traffic.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Teresi carried to adjourn the meeting at
10:30 o -?-clock P. M.
