July 12, 1961
A meeting of the Board of Equalization of the Village of Golden Valley,
Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road, on July 12, 1961, at
8:00 o•clock P. M. for the purpose of reviewing the assessments for the
Village for the year 1961.
Present were Acting Mayor Bies; Councilmen: Scherer, and Teresi; and
Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Assessor, Robert Burns; Village
Attorney, Stanley D. Kane.
The Acting Mayor called the meeting to -order and no one appeared to
protest. The Village Assessor submitted the class 3 (Business Personal
Property) listing and it was noted the Minneapolis Gas Company showed
a reduction from previous years in the gross amount of personal property
listed.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Scherer carried that in view of the additions
and extensions of- mains and other improvements by the Minneapolis Gas
Company that the Village of Golden Valley hereby requests that the State
Board of Equalization not consider a reduction of personal property values
as submitted by the Minneapolis Gas Company, motion unanimously approved.
There being no further business the -Board of Equalization adjourned.
The meeting was reopened and the following residents were present to
.request consideration on their Special Assessments:

This matter was handled at a public, hearing last year and council gave
no consideration to the matter now.
MOVED by Scherer seconded by Teresi carried to adjourn the meeting at
10:00 o•clock P. M.
