SPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
April 7, 1962
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
Aheld at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on April 7, 1962, at 8:00
. M.
The following members were present: Flannagan, Nadasdy, and Scherer; and
the following were absent: Bies, Teresi.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Engineer, Donald
Sorensen; Foreman of Sewer & Water Department, Leonard Dittrick.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M.
Awarding of Bids - Water Meters
Representatives of the water meter companies submitting bids were present
as follows: Mr. Norbert Radmer, Badger Meter Manufacturing; Mr. Robert
Wigley, Neptune Meter Company; and Mr. George Sayer, Power Process Inc.
Council discussed the meters at length.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Scherer carried to award 50% of the Bid to
each of the following: Badger ManufacturingCompany;
upon recommendation of the Village Engineer.
Neptune Meter Company,
MOVED by Scherer seconded by Flannagan carried to adjourn the meeting.
