06-30-62 Special Meeting6 SPECIAL METING of the VILLAGE COUNCIL June 30, 1962 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on June 30, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock A.M. The following members were present: Flannagan, Nadasdy, Scherer, and Teresi; and the following was absent: Bies. Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad and Village Attorney, Stanley D. Kane; also present Chief -of -Police Everett Frandsen. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. "On -Sale" Liquor License - Point Supper Club: The Council met with Mr. Hork and his Attorney, Mr. Meyer, and members of the Police Department, to discuss the activities of Mr. Horkts place of business. After considerable discussion of the conduct and closing, the matter of delinquent personal property taxes was presented to Mr. Hork for an accounting of these delinquencies. Mr. Hork stated that there were delinquent property taxes and he would show evidence whereby he had paid such taxes in the amounts as follows: $213.67 - Paid in 1959 (plus penalties) 244.95 - Paid in 1960 (plus penalties) 281.21 - Paid in 1961 (plus penalties) He stated these documents would be presented to the Council showing that he had actually paid these amounts. As a result, the Council deferred renewing his license at this time. MDVED by Flannagan seconded by Scherer carried to defer the matter to the meeting of July 10 on the basis of the taxes not being paid. There being no further action or business, the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 otclock noon. Mayor Attest: Village Clerk
