MINUTES
of the
BOARD OF REVIEW
July 12, 1966
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, met as the Board of Review on
July 12, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Village Civic Center, 7800
Golden Valley Road.
The following members were present: Garis, Nadasdy, Stockman, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Flannagan.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Assessor, Robert Burns;
Village Attorney, Robert M. Skare; Village Clerk, Helen Penniman, Village
Engineer, Donald Sorensen. Also present was Wayne Johnson, Supervisor of
Assessments for Hennepin County.
Mr. Harry Engblom, 4940 Lowry Terrace, objected to a $900.00 increase in
valuation on his residence.
The Village Assessor reviewed the valuation and taxes on the property for
the previous three years.
Council took no action on the matter.
MOVED by 'Teresi seconded by Stockman carried to reconvene the Board of
Review on July 26, 1966, at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
Council suggested that a notice of the proposed Board of Review Meeting on
July 26, be placed in the Golden Valley Bulletin if time permitted.
MOVED by Teresi seconded by Stockman carried to adjourn the meeting at
10:10 P. M.
