MINUTES
of the
BOARD OF REVIEW
July 26, 1966
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, met as the Board of Review on
July 26, 1966, at 8:00 P. M. in the Village Civic Center, 7800 Golden
Valley Road.
The following members were present: Flannagan, Garis, Stockman, and Teresi;
and the following was absent: Nadasdy.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Assessor, Robert Burns;
Village Attorney, Robert M. Skare; Village Clerk, Helen Penniman. Also
present was Wayne Johnson, Supervisor of Assessments for Hennepin County.
Mr. Wayne Johnson explained the scope of authority of the Board of Review,
and the steps for further review and appeals.
The Village Assessor explained the method of property valuation in Golden Valley.
The following residents appeared to question, object and request consideration:

The Village Assessor read letters from the following:
Garfin, Launer, Newman, Pellar & Salloway dated July 20, 1966 and
Dudley C. Ericson, 4240 Legend Lane; Wesley Harding, 6705 -6th Avenue North.
Council took no action on the above referenced written requests.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Stockman carried to remove the increased
valuation on the property at 700 Winnetka Avenue South and let the present
valuation stand.

Minutes of the Board of Review, July 26, 1966
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Garis carried that the Village Assessor
review the property at 4940 Lowry Terrace and 2511 Douglas Drive North and
approve his final decision regarding same.
MOVED by Flannagan seconded by Stockman carried to adjourn the meeting
at 11:50 P. M.
