of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
January 31, 1967
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley
Road in said Village on January 31, 1967, at 7:15 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Bies, Garis, Stockman, and Teresi; and
the following was absent: Nadasdy.
Present were Village Manager, Roger K. Ulstad; Village Attorney, Robert M.
Skare; Village Clerk, Helen Penniman; Finance Officer, John Murphy; Director
of Parke& Recreation, John Brenna.
Re: Purchase Agreement Between Golden Valley & Brookview Country Club:
The Village Manager gave an oral resume of the negotiations between the
Village committee and Brookview Country Club regarding the purchase agree-
ment for the acquisition of the Brookview Recreation Area.
MOVED by Stockman seconded by Garis carried that the purchase agreement
remain as proposed in all respects except that the possession date be
December, 1968, and except the $2,000.00 earnest money shall be refunded
if the voters do not approve the special bond election in June, 1967.
Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption:
"RESOLUTION"
(Authorizing the Purchase of Certain Realestate -
Brookview Golf Course - Subject to Certain Conditions)
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Member Garis, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in
favor thereof: Bies, Garis, Stockman, and Teresi; and the following voted
against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and his signature attested by the
Village Clerk. See Resolutions Book page.
MOVED by Stockman seconded by Garis carried to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 P.M.
