ADJOURNED MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
February 17, 1971
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, an adjourned meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was
held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on February 17, 1971, at
9:30 P.M.
The following members were present: Paulson, Stockman, Teresi, and Ulstad;
and the following were absent: None.
Present were Village Manager, Barkley G. Omans; Village Clerk, Helen Penniman.
Appointment of Civil Service Commissioner:
The Mayor recommended Pierre Meyer for appointment as Civil Service Commiss-
ioner.
MOVED by Paulson seconded by Stockman carried to confirm the appointment of
Pierre Meyer as Civil Service Commissioner with term of office expiring in
1974.
Building Board of Review:
MOVED by Stockman seconded by Ulstad carried to reappoint Frank Hetman to the
Building Board of Review, term expiring 1974.
Planning Commission:
MOVED by Ulstad seconded by Paulson carried to reappoint Glen Christiansen,
Warren Lundsgaard and Dean Moran to the Planning Commission, terms expiring
1974.
Park & Recreation Commission:
MOVED by Stockman seconded by Paulson carried to appoint Hyman Shinder to
replace David Kahn, unexpired term on the Park & Recreation Commission, ex-
piring in 1973; and reappoint Tom Tart, Ronald Hammer, and Kathryn Herje to
the Park & Recreation Commission, terms expiring 1974.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 P.M.
