04-10-72 Special Meeting1 SPECIAL MEETING of the VILLAGE COUNCIL April 10, 1972 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin Coubty, Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on April 10, 1972, at 5:30 P.M. The following members were present: Hoover, Paulson, Riggs, Stockman and Ulstad; and the following were absent: None. The Special Meeting was called by the Mayor to consider petitioning Hennepin County for traffic signals on Winnetka Avenue North. MOVED by Stockman seconded by Paulson that by unanimous consent to waive notice of the meeting in that all of the Council was present and accounted for. Member Stockman introduced the following resolution and MOVED its adoption: RESOLUTION (Requesting Hennepin County to Install Traffic Signals on Winnetka Avenue at the Intersection of Plymouth and Olympia in Golden Valley) The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Hoover, Paulson, Riggs, Stockman, and Ulstad; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor, and his signature attested by the Village Clerk. See Resolution Book page'. Council concurred in the canceling the agreement with Urban Planning for routine planning for the Building and Zoning Department. The service is no longer needed and was originally set-up because the Village Planner was employed by Urban Planning. Member Hoover arrived late and concurred in the Council motions.
