SPECIAL MEETING
of the
VILLAGE COUNCIL
September 15, 1972
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a spgaial meeting of the Council
of the Village of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held at
7800 Golden Valley Road in said Village on September 15, 1972, at 12:00
o'clock noon.
The following members were present: Hoover, Paulson, and Ulstad; and the
following were absent: Riggs & Stockman.
CERTIFICATION OF MINUTES RELATING TO
$980,000 PARK AND RECREATION BONDS
The Mayor announced that the order of business was the consideration of
the returns on the bond question submitted at the regular primary election
held September 12, 1972. The Clerk presented affidavits showing publishing
of the notice of bond election and sample bond ballot, and posting of the
same at the polling place and three public and conspicuous places within
the Village and also at her office. She then presented the official returns
of the judges of election as to votes cast on the bond question, which affi-
davits and returns were examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on
file.
After due consideration of said returns, Member Ulstad introduced the fol-
lowing written resolution and moved its adoption, and it was read in full
as follows:
RESOLUTION DETERMINING RESULTS
OF BOND ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley, Minn-
esota, that it is hereby found and determined that the election held in and
for said Village on September 12, 1972, has been called and held and the
results thereof eonvassed in all respects according to law, and that at said
election the votes cast on the question of issuing park and recreation bonds
submitted thereat were as follows:

the requisite majority vote.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Member Paulson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Hoover, Paulson, and Ulstad; and the following voted against
the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, and was signed by the Mayor, which was attested by the Clerk.
