ADJOURNED MEETING
of the
CITY COUNCIL
June 26, 1975
Members present: Hoover Thorsen, Bix, and Anderson,Hoover presided.
A discussion was held concerning appointments to the Housing and Community
Development Commission. It was agreed to interview the persons who submit-
ted applications on July 7, before the regular meeting. Councilmembers
were to contact others who are now serving or have served on advisory com-
missions and might be willing to serve. Appointments will be made at the
July 7, meeting.
A Motion by Anderson seconded by Thorsen and carried, to, at the July 7
meeting:
1. Declare a vacancy in the position of Mayor
2. Appoint the Mayor Pro -Tem, Hoover, to the
position of Mayor.
3. Declare a vacancy on the Council.
It was agreed to appoint a member to the vacant seat on the Council with
the following schedule as a guideline.
1. The vacancy will be declared on July 7
2. Applications will be received by the Mayor until
Monday July 14.
3. The Council will meet July 14 at 7:30 P.M. to
review applications and set up an interview
schedule.
4. Interviews will be held July 15, 16, 17 as
necessary.
5. An appointment will be made at th Ju 21 eeting.
