CITY COUNCIL
September 25, 1975
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held
at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said City on September 25, 1975 at 7:30 Ps:M.
Those present were: Anderson, Bix, Hoover, Swartz and Thorsen. Also
present were City Manager, Barkley G. Omans, Director of Administrative
Services, John F. Murphy and City Clerk Mary H. Marske.
1976 Budget:
The Council reconvened from the meeting of September 24, 1975 to continue
discussion of the adoption of the 1976 Budget. Upon the reaching of
general concensus to stay within the levy limits, the council directed the
Director of Administrative Services to prepare an itemized list of those
changes they discussed making in the budget and the necessary transfers
and actions to accomplish a balanced budget and have it ready for council
approval by September 29, 1975.
The council adjourned at 12:00 a.m., to reconvene at 7: .m., Septem-
ber 29, 1975 for further consideration of the budget.
