11-10-75 Special MeetingSPECIAL MEETING of the CITY COUNCIL November 10, 1975 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said City on November 10, 1975. The following members were present: Anderson, Hoover, Swartz and Thorsen, and the following were absent: Bix, Also present were City Manager Barkley G. Omans and Deputy City Clerk June Skyberg. The Mayor called the Council to order as a Canvassing Board. Hoover and the winner in the council contest be awarded as follows: two four-year terms to Gloria Johnson and Rosemary Thorsen, and one two-year term to Stephen Swartz.
