OF THE
CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 10, 1978
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
•Golden Valley, Hennepin County , Minnesota, was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road
in said City on February 10, 1978.
The following members were present: Anderson, Hoover, Johnson, Stockman and
Thorsen. Also present was Assistant City Manager, Jeff Sweet.
Mayor Hoover called the meeting to order and stated this special meeting was
called for the purpose of interviewing Jeff Sweet and continuing the discussion
of the hiring of a city manager.
Following his interview, Jeff Sweet left the meeting.
Moved by Thorsen, seconded by Stockman and carried that it is our intent to
appoint Jeff Sweet as City Manager subject to satisfactory negotiations of conditions
of employment.
The vote was unanimous.
The meeting was adjourned.
