Brief summary of the City Council's worksession held in the Gold Room at the
Civic Center on October 10, 1978.
Department Items:
MOVED by Anderson, seconded by Stockman and carried to approve a loan to the
H.R.A. in the amount of $190,000 from the local State Aid Fund at the interest
rate of 6% to purchase the homes on Rhode Island Avenue #714,720,830.
Council/Commission Relation:
It was Council consensus to set up a person task force to make ,e report back to the
Council.
The Task Force Members will be Ray Stockman and Gloria Johnson.
Council Evaluation of Manager:
The Council discussed a format for evaluating the City Manager and agreed on a
procedure. The Council evaluated the Manager and the results will be prepared
in a letter form which will be sent to the City Manager for enclosure in his
personal file.
The Council requested the City Manager to prepare an analysis of how he spends
his time.
Council Secretary:
The Council shared their thoughts on the duties of a Council Secretary.
