City Council June 11. 1979
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Golden Valley, Hennepi)n County, Minnesota was held at 7800 Golden Valley
Road in said City on June 11, 1979 at 7:00 p.m.
1979 Dutch Elm Program
The Council discussed .the dutch elm program for 1979 and asked Staff to prepare
an analysis of alternative uses for the estimated $16,000 of state subsidy funds.
Repair to Brookview.Pool and Community Center
The City Manager discussed with the Council the repairs necessary to the Brookview
Pool and Community Center. The Manager.also presented.a schematic of a site plan
for Highway #55 and Winnetka.
Idel Silberman - N.W. Human Services Council - Golden Valley Meeting
Idel Silberman was present to explain to the Council the activities available.
Advisory Commission Appointments
The Council discussed the appointments to the Park & Recreation Commission,.Brookview
Study Committee, Human Rights Commission, Northwest Human Services Council and
CATV Committee. No action was taken.
