Special Meeting
of the
City Council
April 14, 1981
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held in the Valley
Room of City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Rd., in said City on April 14, 1981 at 4:30 p.m.
The following members were present: Anderson, Stockman, Mitchell, Johnson and
Thorsen. Also present were City Manager, Jeff Sweet and City Attorney, Robert
Skare.
Status Report on Bassett Creek
Len Kramer of Barr Engineering presented.a status report on Bassett Creek.
General Mills Position on 1-394
Mr. John Schevenius of General Mills presented a statement from General Mills regarding
their position on 1-394 project.
Recess
The Council recessed for the.HRA meeting at 6:30 P.M.
Resumption of Special Meeting
The Special Meeting was resumed at 7:30 P.M.
1981-1985 Capital Improvements Program
The Council held discussion on the Capital Improvements Program. No action was
taken.
1981 Project Activity Schedule
MOVED by Anderson, seconded by Mitchell and carried to defer the item until
April 28, 1981 City Manager meeting.
License Approval - Jennings Ground Round
Jennings Ground Round, 6400 Wayzata Blvd., Golden Valley, 55416 submitted applications
for the following licenses:
1 Operate a food establishment
2 Juke .Boxes.
3 Games of skill
1 Cigarette
MOVED by Johnson, seconded by Mitchell and carried to approve the issuance of
licenses listed above to the Jennings Ground Round.

MOVED by Mitchell, seconded by Johnson and carried to adjourn at 9:45 P.M.
