•Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the Canvassing Board of the City of
Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota was held at 7800 Golden Valley Road in said
City on November 6, 1991 at 5:00 PM.
The following members were present: Johnson, Russell and Stockman. Also present was:
Judy Nally, Administrative Secretary.
Mayor Pro Tem Stockman called the Council to order as a Canvassing Board. The Secretary
presented the election returns for the City Election held on November 5, 1991.

18MOVED by Russell, seconded by Johnson and motion carried unanimously to certify the above
election returns as submitted and to declare that the winner in the Mayoral contest is
Larry A. Bakken, the winner in the Council Member contest (Two Year Term) is Joan Russell
and the winners in the Council Member contest (Four Year Term) be awarded as follows:
four-year terms to Gloria Johnson and Dave Thompson. Said returns and affidavits were
examined and found satisfactory and directed to be placed on file.
MOVED by Johnson, seconded by Russell and motion carried unanimously to adjourn the
meeting at 5:05 PM.
